Caffé Ducali is our brand new Italian-inspired espresso bar located at the entrance of Boston’s North End (289 Causeway Street).
Our newly designed, sleek and modern café space offers a wide range of specialty coffees, including hot and iced espresso drinks, as well as a rotating daily pastry, and breakfast sandwiches. In addition to take away food options for lunch, we serve panini, salads and our nextdoor-sister-restaurant Ducali Pizzeria’s trademark Roman-style pizza al taglio (i.e. measured ‘to the cut’) each day.

Proscuitto Piadina: Freshly cut Prosciutto di Parma, arugula, fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella.
Melanzane Piadina: Grilled eggplant, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions and mozzarella
Al Taglio: A rotation of Ducali’s most popular Roman style pizzas, past and present.
Piadina:
A Piadina is a rustic thin flatbread sandwich that originates from the Emilia Romagna region of Italy. Fired in our new brick oven, this classic Italian street food is perfect for a light lunch.
Served for takeaway at our Caffe Ducali during lunch service.
Al Taglio:
“Al taglio” means “to the cut.” Our Roman-style pizza, served at Caffé Ducali in a rotating selection.
Customers will select a pizza from the case, tell the server how much they want, and it will be then cut and weighed.

Meet Caffe Ducali “Monte,” Boston's very own mobile espresso bar.
Caffe Ducali’s mobile bar tips its hat to the craft of Italian coffee in more ways than one. The truck is a vintage Piaggio Ape — a three-wheeled Italian truck — which owner Philip Frattaroli had outfitted for the coffee operation.
“If you think about coffee culture in the U.S., it’s all based on the Italian system of cappuccino and espresso,” he said, and he wanted Caffe Ducali to hark back to that same Italian heritage.
“In Italy these [vehicles] are very common, actually,” Frattaroli said. He always thought they were cool, and when he learned people were starting to make food trucks out of them, he found a company to modify one for Caffe Ducali.
